The studio is 1250 square feet with a 15ft+ ceiling. It's mostly a large main space, but there's also a small 8 ft x 9 ft nook where we often have seasonal installs that can be used as an additional backdrop.

Natural light comes into the studio from the following locations: • Large glass garage door on the east side of the studio • Two large windows on the north side of the studio • Two skylights in the ceiling Mornings - direct light on the east side through the garage door for more stylized and creative looks. Afternoons - even, balanced lighting throughout the studio. Book afternoons for the brightest available light. Evenings - dimmer lighting leading up to sunset. We recently added adjustable track lighting throughout the studio! These lights allow you to customize both the brightness and color, making it easy to create the perfect atmosphere for any session or bring a creative touch to your content.

Absolutely! We believe pets deserve to be captured in special memories just as much as people do. We simply ask that owners clean up any pet hair left on furniture and sweep the area after their session to keep the studio welcoming for everyone. Please note, if a pet soils or damages any studio props or furniture, a minimum $50 cleaning fee may apply.

Our props and backdrops vary seasonally. You can see our current items on our Instagram page.(https://www.instagram.com/goldengoose.studios/) Some main props include a bed, a Moses infant basket, and a variety of chairs, stools and greenery.

Our built-in and rolling backdrops are 9 ft long x 8 ft high, and can accommodate 6-8 people across, or 12-16 in two rows. The north side of the studio is white cinderblock all the way across (over 50ft) and can fit much larger groups, but it does have two large windows so the subjects will be backlit.

Yes — our studio is a rental space for photographers, so you’ll need to bring your own photographer for your session. If you don’t already have one, reach out to us! Brandon, one of our owners, is also a professional photographer, and if the schedule allows, we’d love to capture your session. Please note: if you arrive without arranging a photographer in advance, there will not be anyone available to take your photos.
